But we are also rebuilding the entire site because we had a breakdown a while ago with our web host provider, which could not restore our sites and pages or even our back office; it was just empty. The backups we had for these missing sites and pages were difficult to implement. We had about 30 domains with them. We decided right there to build new, everything.
We found a new web provider, but it took time. We had unlimited everything before, and not everyone wants to offer it. We don’t post anything unnecessary or videos and other things that can be heavy. But 200 MB or 500 MB of space and 5 domains, what is there to offer? Who can manage on that? It’s not enough for long anyway…
This is also something that falls within our mission, to help SMBs. You shouldn’t have to be scammed just because you need to put up a website! For example, we have also noticed that with all the web providers that we have used over the years, it is not possible to buy a domain from them.
Our current web provider is only $1.00 more expensive than our domain registrar, but previous web providers, even if they have been good at hosting, have been much more expensive, up to $6-$7 more for a .com domain. It’s like they can’t be good at both, or they want to make up for what they lose on the carousels on the swings.
In addition, if you buy a domain from someone, e.g. a web provider, it is not at all certain that you own the domain, at least that was the case a few years ago. And why then? Well, because the domain seller is listed as a buyer at ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). ICANN manages and coordinates all domains, allocates IP addresses and maintains the DNS Root Zones. (They are a nonprofit organization). If you are not listed as the owner there for a domain, then you do not own it.
I asked AI: how much does a .com domain cost? And it is between $10 – $22 per year. So it can be over 100% more expensive than necessary, ugh. Also be careful if you find a cheap domain name, review the consequences of the purchase, especially what it costs after the first year? There is a lot of money to lose there.
We discovered another thing too, one of our first domain registrars that we used, you could not add your own so-called records for DNS. You usually sooner or later need to add some such records, e.g. TXT record, CNAME, etc. An incredibly bad deal. We moved from there immediately, it’s easy, can cost a penny. So keep that in mind when choosing a domain registrar.
However, we will here provide you with relevant information in different categories. Our background is in business where we helped above all SMB (Small and Midsize Businesses). We have a lot of knowledge in the so-called IM industry (Internet Marketing), and many friends and other contacts, this means that we never get stuck. The programmers and developers in this industry are significantly freer to work than the traditional companies’, and they are at least as talented, if not sometimes even more…

Another example, if there is any software, program, or other thing that catches my interest, and I want it, I can get it, for example, for a one-time price of $47 (with full commercial rights). When the product is launched, the price may be $149 per month!. If it is good enough, I will acquire the rights to sell it or at least have an agent license for it so that I can offer it as a service to customers.

Regarding these SMB’s etc, they are unfortunately completely at the mercy of the wolves if they do not have these contacts. Look at Shutterstock.com, Gettyimages.com etc. If a company needs to buy an image, for instance, then a single image on these portals can cost hundreds of dollars (USD). This greed shall not be favored!
Admittedly, there are big and good portals with free images, eg pixabay.com, unsplash.com etc. Anyway, we have huge libraries of royalty-free images, so if you need something, images, videos, SEO tools, Marketing courses, WP Plugins and Themes etc., before we put it up as a service or offer, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
